Family day consisted of some simply wonderful things for us
unfortunately Kevin worked and we missed him dearly
(he says it's because his co-workers ARE his family - dripping in sarcasm)
so Logan and I made Banana bread with chocolate chunks
mac n' cheese for dinner with some for the freezer for later
played connect 4 and dominoes
started building a volcano from Logan's science project kit
he played with Titan while I prepared lunches and breakfasts
there may have been a nap, but we're not admitting to anything
and to Logan's dismay there was a grocery trip as well
(wonder if this is sort of what not working would feel like?)
this is only half the mess we made
the best looking loaf we've ever made, we'll see how it tastes after dinner
