Thanks Shelly for getting me HOOKED!
(You know you have a problem when dinner revolves around, hmmmm, what can I put that mustard on?)
My two favorite new must have's!
Quinoa and Dill mustard
Mix the two together and mmmmmmm,
Cook your Quinoa - 1/2 cup quinoa to 1 cup water for about 15 minutes (easy to store large portions cold in the fridge for whipping up salad whenever you like)
Let your quinoa get cold and then whip up a salad
Chopped kale and spinach
halved cherry tomatoes
chopped red or yellow peppers
soy beans
add chicken if you feel like up to it
THEN
mix some dill mustard - oh a tblsp or so
olive oil
red or white wine vinegar
shake and pour onto your new salad
I can't get enough
OR
same salad mix, but no beans
add bocconcini cheese and basil
dressing of balsamic vinegar, olive oil and if you have it, balsamic reduction
Logan likes the second one and Kevin will eat it. If it's a texture or look thing use less quinoa to start off.
AGAIN I've outsourced for tonight's post.
Throw together quinoa salad brought to you by Shelly Andrews kitchen.
The mustard by the way - good on burgers, or sandwiches or hotdogs or whatever you use mustard on really!!! ANd popular with dinner guests!
Trust me on this and cheapest place to purchaqse is Wal-mart!
