another great weekend with a story to tell
we had some great friends join us again
the kids had a blast running, playing, building forts, playing hex bugs, climbing, searching for wabbits and snakes
camping, floating down the river, swimming, fires and singing and dancing with gut busting laughter
and one Lisa falling out of a tree
(sung to last the Christmas carol tune of "5 golden rings")
What have we here?

Lisa falls out of a tree
Kevin climbs the tree and in typical Lisa and Kevin stubborn competitive style he challenges she can't do it (he was right) and Lisa cannot backdown from a Kevin challenge
she decides with a milk crate and some liquid courage she can surely hoist herself up there as well
I say to the kids "what happens when we climb trees boys?"
(coincidentally the same young boys that were there during Logan's tree incident)
They all chime in "you fall out of them and go to the hospital"
and shortly after she did exactly what we said she would
she fell back first onto the milk crate
and it was NOT funny, it took her what felt like hours to breathe and then she proceeded to self medicated with Jason "King of Shot Gun beer's" assistance
a title that remains safe for one more weekend, not that I think he was worried against the "Fall out of tree" Lisa
