an afternoon in Vancouver

Good bye Whistler and Hello Vancouver.
The traffic was nasty and it took us FOREVER to get through downtown to Lonsdale Quay market.
Side note - there just happened to be a Zombie walk downtown Vancouver.  I've never seen so many people all over the streets dressed up in what we in small town Airdrie folk know as Halloween costumes.
First we went to Lonsdale thinking it was all outdoor and the dog and kids would have a great time, oops not outdoor, no dogs allowed and not much for the kids.  So off to Granville Island of course.  AHhhhhhh more like it.

Dinner at Bridges during a wedding, over looking the harbor and downtown and they accommodated Tightie by allowing him to sit on the dock with a water bowl.
It was nice and hot, a little white wine and easy dinner ocean side.  Now that is vacation.

The drive from Whistler to Vancouver was another beautiful one and another adventure.  You come over the hill after Squamish, Tim's in hand, a little "Knee Deep" by Zac Brown and the mountains open up all around you with the Ocean blue as can be right beside the highway the whole way.  It is a gorgeous sight, the highest of high mountains, with ever greens, and snowy caps, plunging into the bluest of blue Oceans for as far as you can see.

Miranda says "Logan look at that lake (then over the hill), OH, it's huge!  And look at all the boats."

Kevin says, drooling in sarcasm "Cuz it's the Pacific Ocean, hun"

Then announces over the walkies talkie to his Bestie, "haa haa Miranda just called the Ocean the Lake"

The fun just doesn't stop.
