Loving us some beach time!

May 3rd - we left for the beach early (about 8:30am) due to the incredible heat we knew would come and the limited time we should be in the sun and we still over did it

the day prior was a miserable rain day so we were itching to get out and about

now you have to understand what I mean by rain day because it wasn't the type of "oh well it's raining I'll get a little wet", but still go outside anyways sort of rain

it was a tropical rain forest type rain, with thunder and lightning, surrounding foggy mist, and rain drops coming down the size of very large grapes, 

a filling the gutters type rain, a rain that is hot, not cool and it pours the entire day (bring our temperatures down from 35 to 28 and 28 is far more liveable)

the gutters are up to you knees, not like our woosie gutters, these are human sized gutters that flood in this type of rain creating rivers down the roads and out wipers blades are useless to create visibility type rain (now we understand by their sidewalks are so high and gutters so deep and dangerous its to collect the monsoon rain water)

so a beach day was very exciting

these guys are playing a soccer type ping pong game that looks like a blast, we intend to play at the lake this summer

we were at the beach for about 5 hours

re-applying sunscreen and almost everyone is now a tomato

Logan is so burned that he has little blisters on his cheeks (we bought him a long sleeved rash guard for he remainder of our trip, last time we were here we bought him a rash guard for the same reason - strange coincidence)

it seems that CR does this to us - massive sunburns

sunburns so bad that it means the next day includes only out of sun activities and loads of Aloe

there is not enough sunscreen one can pack for this part of the world
