KIDS! Right?!
They were all sooooo bored almost the moment we arrived. This time Logan brought buckets of Lego and the kids played with this on the not so nice somewhat rainy Friday night.
Things brightened up Saturday so we went on a walk. I was so pleased to be able to do half the lake walk. It's my favourite walk and I've not been able to do it since early last winter. I finally made it half way through with Ellice and the kiddies while Logan, Kevin, Matthew and Asher took up a morning of boys golf. It was a wonderful day, skunk sighting and all.
So to ease the crazy boredom we pulled out the nail polish and the kids went to town. The boys wanted to make it looked like the smashed their fingers with the black polish and Nora painted rainbows on anyone's nails that would sit still long enough. Her dad was having none of that.
Ryan giggled and giggled much of the day if he wasn't busy playing with his cars or having mom paint his nails blue.
Then the boys fixed the venting for the garage heater.
It was a great weekend, with nice weather, our first indoor fire in the Bat Cave minus the bats. We enjoyed having our first dough goshes and then Gyoza for dinner. It was an eventful and fun weekend (not as eventful as our last time together here, thank goodness see "The Bat Cave" post)
