Christmas 2013

 Another Christmas

and we are spoiled again

This year we (I, but we makes me feel better) struggled with the Christmas Spirit

and I am not sure we ever really were able to fully embrace it as we have in the past 

(strange how some years are just like that)

perhaps it was my highly stress sensitive hormones that just about had enough of the running around and lashed out at anything that moved when things didn't go just as I planned

(i know how hard that is to believe)

in the end we enjoyed good company and good food and received far too many lovely gifts

Logan gets a walking stick

for anyone that has every been anywhere with us you already know  Logan's need to have a special walking stick with him at all times and the arguments that ensue as a result

This will be the first one that doesn't land in the bush or the fire and he is quite pleased

Christmas takes it's toll on everyone - nap time

And Christmas morning would never be complete without some Bass Brother antics

Us girls are enjoying some coffee and preparing breakfast

when we hear that sound, the one that can only mean trouble

that signature Bass giggle coming from the elevator

the giggle that only comes out when they are together and up to no good

that giggle that any one of females can hear from a mile away

the giggle that warns, best off to just join 'em because you will not beat 'em

these two boys had one task - set up the table and chairs for dinner

this one task took far too long to complete, while they tried to come up anything other than setting up the table

we open the elevator door to find the source of the giggle and discover them sitting on the chairs and giggling with each other over their antics and how clever they thought they were

it's almost time to ring in the New Year
