Casey's 1!

And the day came (and went)

Casey's first birthday that just came so fast and our little baby is 1! 

We celebrated with her whole family, gifts, dinner and cake.  Logan decided that Casey loves Lasagna so that would be her special dinner.  And of course the giraffe cake.

For Casey's first Birthday she received very generous gifts from her loved ones.

Gran - 4 in 1 Trike

Uncle Bun, Aunt Tara, Jacob and Lucas - a cute purple puppy to match her purple bedroom

Uncle Cory, Aunt Brooke and Rhodes - her first baby doll

Auntie Lisa, Uncle Grant, Austin, Dalyce and Drayper - Go Go Animals to go on the Go Go Animals playground mom and dad picked up for her

Grandpa and Grandma - money for her bank account, an animal book with giraffe's, mouse emotion book

Mom, dad and Logan - a standing giraffe that is the same size as Casey, glow worm and Go Go animal playground.

Grandpa Bass - beautiful butterfly artwork, storybook collection and the spring horse whose yet to be named from Kevin's childhood with a lovely story he wrote from the horses view

Ellice and Ryan (the Tatro family) - a cute pooh balloon and a lovely lunch and Menchies dessert 

Cake time!

We put in her #1 candle that Logan helped blow out and then cut a very large piece for Casey.

We put the cake directly onto her tray, first she looked at it, then sort of poked it around with her fingers as any dainty lady would before gently putting her face near the cake as she licked and then bit a chunk out of it.  Upon tasting it's delicious flavour she was less graceful and grabbed fist after fist of cake to eat.

It was a lovely party and Miss Casey managed to make it through to the end with a face full of cake and finished her entire adult oversized piece with no tears.
