Growing Up

Our little Casey is growing up and fast

I've put away a few of her newborn hats and most of her newborn outfits (officially)

and the time had come to put away her sleeping arrangements

She has spent her nights in this laundry basket by our bed, which was perfect size, but as you see here she has grown to the same size as this basket and it was time for us all to get some real sleep and graduate her into her crib.  Casey is not a quiet sound sleeper.

She has also now enjoyed her first bath with daddy without any tears and discovered the relaxation of water movement and a warm bath

and it would seem the bath was just what she needed to get settled down and have a good sleep because as soon as she was dressed she passed right out, which is not like her at all without being snuggled for a bit and swaddled tightly
