What a great night! Thank you Tatro's for hosting another excellent New Year Par-tay! Let the record show the Bass family was on time this year.

Once again it was girls against boys New Year's version of Pictionary, which involves us making up our own words, a little chalkboard, itty bitty bits of chalk and howling laughter all night long and for the first time in history a time app on the iphone. This tends to be our favorite, although we've had some Partini and Cranium in the past as well. Any game we've chosen always involves plenty of laughter.
Some of our words this year included Probiotic Bacteria, George W. Bush, Embroidery, Lard, Colonoscopy (some argue we've used that word in the past), Beta, Spelunking, Panasonic, Exfoliant, Governor General and this year's favorite Zumba.
John had to draw Zumba which involved an ear for sounds like and a Bum, for which Matthew guessed Ear Butt followed by Butt Cloud. I don't think us girls ever laughed so hard, the ongoing laughter over these guesses might have cost them that point.
Previous faves included Cochrane and bikini wax.
Try to strike this next comment from your memory for next year "the boys might have won". I guess they needed one. Seeing as last year the girls left with the trophy. BUT I think the year prior the Boys might have won...We need a trophy so us girls can better keep track of our wins.
